It’s the start of a New Year at Albavet Dunfermline and we have some exciting staff changes to let you know about.
Taylor Young has had a change in career! She is moving from her role as receptionist to become a student veterinary nurse with us here at Albavet. She will be starting her official training at the Oatridge Campus of SRUC for her Veterinary Nursing Level 3 Diploma later in the year. Meanwhile she is taking the time to get used to the many varied aspects of veterinary nursing and you will find her in the dispensary, assisting in the theatre and nursing our patients in the wards. We wish her all the best for her training and her exciting future as a veterinary nurse.
That left us with a receptionist position to fill and we decided to have two! Julia Lowrie and Megan Wallace have started with us and have fitted in with ease.
Julia has previously worked in a veterinary practice down south and has two cats, Bobby and Hamish, as well as a Lurcher, Sherbert. Megan has studied equine and animal care at Elmwood College and has a German Shepherd called Luna and a Labrador called Harley.
We are sure the Albavet clients will offer Julia and Megan a warm welcome and they both look forward to meeting you and your pets.
