We have lots of exciting Albavet Fife Staff news to share with you from over the summer. We have been up to all sorts.
We are delighted to tell you that Alan, our student nurse in Kirkcaldy, and Shannon, our Saturday receptionist in Dunfermline, have both passed their final nursing exams and are now fully qualified Veterinary Nurses (RVN’s)! We are exceptionally proud of them, they have worked so hard.
Kerry, one of our Dunfermline nurses, successfully completed her BVNA certificate in wound management and is the go to nurse when the vets and nurses require advise about the best way to look after patient wounds. Congratulations Kerry!
Welcoming back to the practice
We also welcomed back from maternity leave Kirkcaldy vet Christie, Kirkcaldy nurse Jodie and Dalgety Bay receptionist Helaina. We know clients have been really pleased to see their return. Helaina is working at Dalgety Bay two days a week and Jackie is working there three days a week and working at the Dunfermline clinic as an Animal Care Assistant the other two.
Welcoming to the practice
We have some new faces on the reception team at Kirkcaldy with Ria and India joining us. Both ladies are enjoying meeting all our clients and their pets and are settling in really well.
We are also very pleased to also welcome two new veterinary surgeons to the Albavet Fife family. In Kirkcaldy we have Head Vet Louise and in Dunfermline we have Mhairi. We hope you will extend a warm welcome to our new vets should you meet them at the practice.
Last but not least, there has also been some promotions! Congratulations to Jen in Kirkcaldy and Mel in Dunfermline, they have been promoted to Head Receptionist and have the task of ensuring the reception team continues to provide excellent service to our clients.
What with bake sales and Tough Mudder for the Kirkcaldy team and the Dunfermline team visiting local gala events it’s been a busy Summer at Albavet.
